Longview's principal planner, Dr. Jean Wang, is a Certified Financial Planner and an Accredited Estate Planner.
Jean has always loved numbers and analysis.
She studied mathematics in National Taiwan University and statistics in
New York State University at Stony Brook.
Jean's PhD. research at Claremont Graduate University was focused on
Monte Carlo Methods. She applied these techniques in computer performance modeling.
As Monte Carlo Methods penetrated in financial
fields, Jean started pursuing a financial planner career and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2002.
She found Longview Planner, Inc. in 2006 for providing independent Fee-only services.
Jean has partnered with Estate Attorneys and focused the practice in Estate Planning as well as Integrated Financial Planning.
Jean taught statistics and Monte Carlo classes in local community programs and university. She is a member of Estate Planning Council of Southern Alameda County.
